MOIRA SCAR: V.E.X. (Roxy and LuLu of Moira Scar etc. duh . . .) TOUR EUROPE SEPT. 2016!!!

Heavy and strange, Moira Scar is a goth punk industrial trio out of Oakland Ca. Roxy Monoxide (guitar, vocals, tenor sax), LuLu Gammaray (synth, vocals, sampler, trombone), and Bil Bowman (drums) create a sound all their own that is a mix of death-rock, psych-punk, no-wave, and experimental. Known for their wild and intense live shows, Moira Scar has put out 9 unique albums as Moira Scar and V.E.X. (Ventriloquest Ectoplasmold Xanaxax, Vortex Empath Xen), toured the U.S. multiple times as well as parts of Europe, Mexico, and Canada. Roxy and LuLu started Moira Scar in 2008, ending their previous band The Floating Corpses, for the first few years playing as a duo, then became a trio with different drummers for different albums. Now with Bil (Acid King) on drums, working on new album and scheming tours. V.E.X. was Roxy and LuLu duo, now called Bat Noise. Bat Noise is also where Moira Scar, V.E.X. and Bat Noise release music and put on underground events. Moira Scar/V.E.X. has played many hundreds of shows, including with Psychic T.V., 45 Grave, HIDE, Hante, Moor Mother, Gitane Demone, Acid Mothers Temple, Lydia Lunch, Skeletal Bat, Kommunity FK, Mephisto Walz, Chrome, Altar De Fey, Ragana, Ritual Howls, Shannon and the Clams, Author & Punisher, SRSQ, Blu Anxxiety, and many others.
